Guzee

GUZEE

This name denotes one of the coarsest fabrics made in Bengal. It costs very little and the manufacture has not been affected by the competition of foreigners, as the yam is sold at a much lower price than imported yam. Made from Seronge cotton (see Garrha). Like Garrha, a 10 yard piece costs less than one shilling.
